Elizabeth Epperson from McCallum High School was awarded a 4-year scholarship by the NxNE Austin Rotary club. She sent us the following thank you:
I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in awarding me this scholarship over the next four years. Paying for college has become a stressful issue for my family and me. With this award, all of our stress has been relieved. Additionally, this scholarship will help me to achieve my goals of attaining a college degree, and using that to help others in the Human Services field.
I will be attending Texas State University in the fall, and I have emailed the Bursar's Office regarding my registration bill. They should be in contact with you shortly.
I admire the work of the Rotary Club, and the initiative of individuals to be active in their communities. To be recognized by this organization is a huge honor.
