On June 20th, Frank and Allison Ivy spoke about attending the RI international Convention in June in Houston. During the convention, Allison collected pins from other Rotarians from around the world. She would walk up to Rotarians and introduce herself each day and see how many different Rotarians she could meet from different countries. On the last day of the convention, she met 2022-23 RI President-Elect R. Gordon R. McInally. Frank and Allison showed pictures of the convention activities and entertainment and told us about some of speakers, which included astronauts, a doctor from the Ukraine, a Nobel Peace laureate, an 11-year old boy from Fort Worth, Texas, and various Rotarians. There 11,000 people in attendance at the convention, with the top 5 countries being the U.S., the Philippines, Japan, India, and Canada. It sounded like Frank and Allison had a fabulous time!
